Ali's recently left her role as Service Delivery Manager for the Earlier Mental Health Response Team (Whakarongorau Aotearoa – NZ Telehealth Service), during this two-year period she managed a national, experienced team of clinicians coupled with multiple contracts across Aotearoa. Her role was to develop a national, culturally sensitive acute mental health tele-triage service to ensure that we provide a high-quality service that is responsive and flexible to the needs of the ever-changing landscape.

Ali continues to follow her passion in Mental Health Nursing and is with AUT School of Nursing; however, she remains committed to exploring the role of the RN in tele-medicine arena and how it can inform the wider mental health space and our next generation of mental health professionals. Ali will discuss the skill and expertise that required to work in this area of specialist practice as well as the changing movement in Mental Health with increased social media platforms.
